1. Prioritize – determine the order for dealing with items according to their relative importance. When you feel overwhelmed, make sure that you put all things that can wait aside.

2. Plan – scheduling is the art of planning your activities so that you can achieve your priorities in the time you have available. It helps you manage your time more efficiently and avoid you making promises you can’t keep.

3. Play – don’t forget to plan and schedule the fun stuff as well. You need a good balance!

4. Pray – even if you don’t believe in a higher being, saying a prayer for anything bothering you helps you unload and get peace of mind. And sometimes, despite your best efforts, things don’t turn out that well. At those time, be thankful for what you have.

2. Personal development books or audio, meditation or reflection, whatever you need to get your mind in the right place.

3. Make a list of everything you need to do. Not just in your head, write it down, so that at the end of the day you can check off everything accomplished with a great feeling of satisfaction and for those items not completed, carry them over to tomorrows list.

4. Have an Attitude of Gratitude. Write down 10 things that you are thankful for and refer back to it each time throughout the day when things start to get on top of you. It will change your whole outlook. As Jim Rohn says “If you don’t like where you are, change it. You are not a tree”.
